Cost Planner (BUILD) West Yorkshire

The Company & Role
This leading national building contractor requires an experienced Cost Planner to work along side the current construction team and enhance the expectations and delivery of projects for a wide client base. Office based, you will be responsible for front end cost planning, working directly with external/internal clients, managing other disciplines and team and take accountability for all aspects of bids and pre contract development.

Duties
-Able to price/produce cost plans from concept information
-Manage Procurement, Design Management & Planning disciplines
-Present for tender adjudication
-Capturing and analysis of cost data from live projects
-To support project teams with change control and major variations

The Ideal Candidate
-Front End experience of Cost Planning, Budgets & Feasibility Pricing
-Extensive experience of large commercial construction projects
-Understanding of the impact of value engineering, good planning on quality, health, safety & environmental
-Formal qualification in construction or engineering preferred with a background in planning, estimating, design or surveying
