The Company:
We are working with a Regional Construction Group who have a long heritage in the North West and are active in a variety of market sectors.
They are privately owned, profitable and have a really good client base : they generally operate as a main contractor and are on a number of key public sector frameworks.
This a new role recently identified and is imperative in helping them to continue their growth and development.

The Role:
Managing your own diary you will ordinarily be office based in the NW of England but will be required to visit sites, suppliers etc. across the region too.
General responsibilities will include the following;
• Research and contact new suppliers initiating business relationships and partnerships
• Negotiate new contracts including rebates
• Have overall control for ordering materials and plant
• Risk management
• Initiate spending controls where required
• Work closely with other departments putting in place robust processes and procedures that aid rather than hinder the construction business

They would like to recruit an experienced Buyer who has worked in a similar role within construction.
You'll need to be IT Literate and be able to interpret and analyse data.
You will need a Full UK Driving Licence and be geographically mobile.
