Operations Manager

We are working on behalf of a long established multi disciplinary construction business with a solid heritage that promotes the development of its employees through re investment in training and mentoring throughout all departments.

They have developed long term relationships with a variety of public and private sector clients who have come to rely on their trustworthy and professional way of working that is essential to deliver projects successfully.

They have a requirement for a Operations Manager to support a Divisional Director for a £35m turnover business unit who carry out challenging projects often in live environments to c£4m including structural alterations, refurbishment, extensions and new build works in the commercial, education, health, leisure and industrial sectors.

Applicants will be competent in delivering multiple projects with responsibility for managing site teams, being the main point of contact for the client and external consultants, health & safety governance, monitoring programmes of work and reporting on progress internally and to the client.

As a member of the senior management team you will also be instrumental in advising on strategy for business growth and work winning to maximise business with existing clients and develop new.
