Site Manager - Extra Care

The Company
My Client is a privately-owned regional building contractor and developer with a turnover of c£40m per annum. They undertake a variety of projects across Care, Affordable Living, Education and Health sectors and are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join the team on a new build Extra Care Home in Cheshire.

The Position
Responsibility for the successful delivery of 21 apartment Extra Care Project in Cheshire through the motivational management of sub-contractors and effective co-ordination of the supply chain.

The Person
An experienced construction professional who can demonstrate a track record of managing NEC, JCT and partnering contracts
Ability to read, interpret and understand programmes, drawings, schedules and specifications
IT literate - Microsoft project / Asta or equivalent skills
Strong client liaison and communication skills idealy with Social Housing providers
Excellent leadership, management and team development skills
Strong understanding of construction operations and related sectors
Experience of coordinating and working under Section Agreements
Appreciation of the requirements of BREEAM and Code for Sustainable Homes
Full understanding of Health & Safety legislation and statutory requirements
