Site Manager - Main Contracting

I am currently working with a long standing client who are a privately owned main building contractor based in Cheshire. Their focus tends to be within the Commercial, Industrial, Leisure & Education markets on schemes from £1m - £4m. They are now looking to recruit an experienced Site Manager with a working knowledge of both new builds and refurbishments. The initial project will be an extra-care development in Cheshire with follow on works throughout the North West.



Site Manager Job Description:

• Supervising and overseeing the direction of the project, ensuring that the client’s specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress and liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor costs
• Liaising with the client, other construction professionals and members of the public
• Co-ordinating and supervising construction workers
• Selecting tools and materials
• Making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety
• Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings
• Maintaining quality control procedures
• Writing reports and keeping on top of paperwork



Site Manager Job Requirements:

• SMSTS, First Aid & CSCS Card
• Experience managing a diverse project range including both new builds & refurbishments
• The ability to travel throughout the North West
