Our client, a reputable regional contractor with an turnover of c£25m, is seeking to recruit an experienced Estimator to join their South Yorkshire based team
Specialising in delivering new build and refurb projects up to £10m, they operate across diverse sectors including commercial, education, and healthcare
The successful candidate will play a vital role in driving business growth by providing accurate and competitive cost estimates, preparing detailed tenders, and contributing to project feasibility assessments
You will work closely with the operational team to ensure that estimates align with project specifications and client expectations, ensuring both profitability and customer satisfaction
You must have;
- Proven experience in estimating within the construction industry, preferably on projects into the millions
- Strong understanding of construction costs, materials, and sub-contractor pricing
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
- Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office suite
