Senior Estimator

The Company:

We are working with a leading Construction Group who have a great reputation for delivering varied and interesting projects in the North West of England.

They have excellent relationships with their clients, are growing and have secured all of their turnover for 2022-3 already.

They predominantly work with Public Sector Clients and mainly take on new build schemes.

They have a very knowledgeable senior management team and still have the feel of a smaller family business where employees are valued and supported.

The Role:

They are now in a position to recruit an experienced Senior Estimator to their current team in line with planned expansion, a healthy pipeline of opportunities and to take some pressure off their current work winning team.

You'll get the opportunity to work on schemes from a very early stage giving early stage cost advice using your knowledge and experience to inform your client's decision making. You'll also get to work on tenders, as this company are very selective and work via some key Frameworks their hit rate is very high and you won't be wasting your time and effort working on projects that your employer has little interest in securing.

This also means that your workload will be very sensible, you'll typically have 1-2 schemes at varying stages that you'll be focussing on at any one time.

You will be joining a small close knit Estimating team reporting in to the Commercial Director.

You:

Ideally, you will be working as a Senior Estimator for a building contractor helping to secure new build schemes – if you are currently at Estimator level we'd like to hear from you too as they can also recruit at this level and can provide you with support to progress to Senior level.

You will be based in or be able to commute to the North West of England.

You will be IT literate (ideally with experience using specialist Estimating software – they use Conquest).
