They typically make double digit margins on projects.
They are now in a position to add a Bid Manager to their Pre-Construction team based in the North West of England.
Typically with responsibility for 1 large scheme or a couple of smaller value projects you will carry out site investigations, chair and coordinate meetings with stakeholders, responding to queries, disseminate relevant information and ensure that your project/s progress through the pre-construction phase in a timely manner.
The role gives you the opportunity to work across all areas of work winning bringing together persuasive bids.
You will work closely with the design managers, estimators, planners, bid managers and the technical & operational delivery teams to give you a thorough understanding of the construction process.
On-going support and development will be provided by the Pre-Construction Manager and Directors.
They would like to recruit someone with either a Construction/Project Management background (Contractor or Consultancy) or someone with experience gained in Design Management.
You will need to be based in or be able to commute to the North West of England.
You will be IT literate and have good communication skills.
