Civils Quantity Surveyor - Leeds - (£45k - £55k + Package)

I am working exclusively with a c£30m t/o Principal Civils Contractor who operate throughout Yorkshire on bulk earthworks and infrastructure schemes up to £15m.

They are a contractor who have complete confidence and market knowledge in their chosen field and prioritise profit and sustainability over chasing turnover.

Due to continued growth and a heavy order book, they are looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.

Your main duties will be:

• Measure and prepare valuations
• Preparing and agreeing interim valuations and final accounts
• Recording, monitoring, and reviewing the financial performance of contracts
• Managing financial accounts and report to senior management on the project performance
• Liaising and presenting to the client on the project performance
• Securing payments from customers within the specified contract terms
• Subcontract procurement and management of subcontractor accounts
• Pre-contract pricing and agreement project costs.

You will need:

• BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or experience equivalent
• Civil Engineering experience from a QS perspective
• At least 3 years of experience working as a Quantity Surveyor on earthworks projects
• Client facing resolution experience
