We are working with an International Construction Consultancy with offices across the world.
They provide a range of services for their clients including Advisory, Claims, Dispute Resolution and Expert Witness services across delay, quantum, technical and project management disciplines. They provide support and advice to their clients managing claims, resolving disputes, assessing potential entitlements and possible liabilities, and acting as expert witnesses in legal proceedings.
Due to continued growth they are now in a position to recruit Consultants to their North West based team.
Splitting your time between the regional offices, home (if preferred) with occasional client visits you will be responsible for working alongside Industry Experts on commissions for Top Tier Contractors, End Clients and Subcontractors.
Typical projects you will work on will be larger scale Building, Civil Engineering and Power projects.
Your role will be to help the Experts and Associates to analyse contracts (predominantly JCT and NEC) identifying salient points. Analysing, filtering, dissecting and arrange data to give expert advice to clients. You will also assist in putting together their library of market rates.
You will be a Quantity Surveyor with experience gained working on larger scale construction projects either working with a main Contractor, M&E Contractor, Consultancy or a combination of these.
You will need to have great attention to detail, be analytical and be able to simplify complex information.
Ideally, you will have a relevant degree and either be Chartered or be working towards Chartership (they can support you with this).
They would like to recruit experienced Quantity Surveyors with a stable employment history.
You will be based in or be able to commute to the North West of England daily.
You will be confident in a Client facing role.
You will have great communication skills.
