Engineer | Highways & Water | North East | £50k - £55k + Package
I am working for an established regional contractor who are looking to appoint an Engineer to support a growing portfolio of highways and water projects across the North East
This role suits an Engineer who enjoys being on site and close to delivery, supporting construction teams and playing a key role in getting work built safely and correctly.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting out for highways and water projects
- Supporting day-to-day site operations and site management
- Producing and maintaining as-built records
- Assisting with QA documentation, ITPs, and inspections
- Supporting temporary works and method statement implementation
- Liaising with subcontractors and supervisors on site
- Ensuring works are delivered safely and to specification
Ideal Background
- Experience on highways and water schemes
- Practical, site-based engineering background
- Confident with setting out and technical problem-solving
- CSCS and relevant civil engineering qualifications
