I am working closely with a Leeds based main contractor to recruit an experienced construction Estimator due to continuous growth.
This is a pivotal role within the company and involves preparing & managing cost estimates for new build and refurb projects valued up to £10m.
You will play a crucial role in the tendering process, working closely with project managers and clients to ensure that all estimates are accurate, comprehensive, and aligned with project specifications.
The ideal candidate will have;
- Proven experience as an Estimator with a background in the construction/build industry.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and cost management.
- Ability to interpret and analyse project specifications and drawings.
- Proficient in estimating software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
