Our client is a multi-disciplined construction company who work on a variety of new build and refurb projects, they have an on-site joinery workshop that services the main contracting discipline.
Due to a heavy order book, they are seeking to recruit a Joiner Shop Supervisor to oversee a team of joiners in a fast paced and dynamic environment, whilst providing support to the joinery manager.
Responsibilities include;
- General workshop duties such as scheduling and issuing workload for the joiner’s shop
- Information distribution and filing
- Fire Door Legislation
- Production and quality control
- Timber Stock Control
- Machine Inspections, maintenance and repairs
- Health & Safety / ISO Management system
- Managing Workload & Programming
- pricing tenders as required and assisting with design input
- Advising Construction Director and agreeing actions for major fixed woodworking machine replacements and improvements
This is an excellent opportunity that will suit someone with an experienced joinery background with a history of supervising / managing colleagues in a busy environment.
