I am working with one of the region’s leading affordable housing contractors who are looking to employ an Operations Manager to join their North West team to head up a c£40m business unit across 10 -12 live sites.

The main function of the role is to successfully manage the construction teams to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction is achieved on all projects in line with the Company’s profitability, safety and quality expectations.
This will be achieved by creating accurate project plans, strictly monitoring progress, effective team management, developing and maintaining supply chain relationships and ensuring that contractual issues are handled promptly.
As Business Unit lead you will be responsible for delivering an annual business plan for board approval, working with the Commercial Team to manage the profit and loss account, ensuring that the Company’s policies and procedures are met, leading Monthly Contract Review Meetings ensuring accurate reports are communicated and ensuring compliance with legal and statutory requirements.
Applicants will be able to demonstrate a successful track record of developing and managing teams to deliver major affordable housing projects whilst exhibiting an excellent knowledge of contractual conditions, profit & loss, health & safety and IT literacy.
