Project Manager | South Yorkshire | Specialist Contractor | £50k - £60k + Package
We are recruiting for a Permanent Project Manager to join our client’s team based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. This pivotal role involves the full lifecycle management of the design and construction of bolted steel and reinforced concrete projects, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in specialist construction projects, demonstrating adeptness in managing teams, coordinating with clients and stakeholders, and maintaining rigorous safety and quality protocols. You will oversee site operations—including planning, programme management, procurement, and team leadership—while fostering excellent communication and continuous improvement within project teams.
- Experience in managing specialist construction projects, particularly steel and concrete.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to develop, motivate, and direct teams effectively.
- Competency in creating and implementing RAMS and safe systems of work in line with strict safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, suppliers, and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong organisational skills with a focus on delivering projects on time, within scope, and budget.
- Experience in managing site personnel, subcontractors, and procurement processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word, with familiarity in Microsoft Project preferred.
- Relevant construction qualifications, including CPCS or similar certifications.
