This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware and delivery-focused Project Manager to take ownership of a project from inception, coordinating the design process, managing key stakeholders and driving the construction programme through to completion.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering a high-quality hotel development, ensuring the finished product meets exacting standards, with a particular focus on premium finishes, quality and attention to detail.

  • Manage client relationships and act as the key point of contact for project stakeholders.
  • Lead project planning, programming and sequencing, ensuring key milestones and deadlines are achieved.
  • Oversee procurement strategies, subcontractor appointments and the coordination of specialist packages.
  • Work closely with the site management team to ensure construction activities are delivered safely, efficiently and to specification.
  • Monitor project costs, budgets, variations and commercial performance in conjunction with the commercial team.
  • Drive quality management throughout the project, with particular emphasis on high-specification internal finishes, fixtures, fittings and final detailing.
  • Identify and manage project risks, design issues and programme constraints, implementing effective solutions where required.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, building regulations, quality standards and contractual requirements.
  • Coordinate inspections, commissioning, snagging and the final handover process.
  • Maintain clear communication and reporting across all project stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, programme, cost and quality.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will have:
  • Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager delivering new-build construction projects.
  • A strong track record of managing projects from early design and pre-construction stages through to completion.
  • Experience coordinating design teams, consultants, clients and multiple project stakeholders.
  • A thorough understanding of construction programmes, procurement, project costs and risk management.

  • The ability to drive progress, maintain quality standards and manage competing priorities.
  • Qualifications: SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold Card), Temporary Works Coordinator, First Aid
  • Experience delivering hotels, hospitality, leisure or other high-specification commercial developments would be particularly advantageous.
