Senior Quantity Surveyor
Principal Civils Contractor

£55k - £65k + Car / Allowance + Benefits
I am working exclusively with a c£30m t/o Principal Civils Contractor who operate throughout Yorkshire on bulk earthworks and infrastructure schemes up to £15m.
They are a contractor who have complete confidence and market knowledge in their chosen field and prioritise profit and sustainability over chasing turnover.
Due to continued growth and a heavy order book, they are looking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.
Your main duties will be:
- Measure and prepare valuations
- Preparing and agreeing interim valuations and final accounts
- Recording, monitoring, and reviewing the financial performance of contracts
- Managing financial accounts and report to senior management on the project performance
- Liaising and presenting to the client on the project performance
- Securing payments from customers within the specified contract terms
- Subcontract procurement and management of subcontractor accounts
- Pre-contract pricing and agreement project costs.
You will need:
- BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or experience equivalent
- Civil Engineering experience from a QS perspective
- At least 10 years of experience working as a Quantity Surveyor
- Client facing resolution experience
