Senior Planner

Senior Planner | West Yorkshire | £75k – £85k + Package

Looking for a planning role where you can take ownership of programmes and play a key part in delivering construction projects across Yorkshire?

We're recruiting for an established main contractor looking to appoint a Senior Planner to join their West Yorkshire team.

The business delivers a varied workload across commercial, industrial, education and public-sector projects, with the opportunity to get involved from pre-construction through to completion.

The Role;

• Develop and manage construction programmes from tender through to completion
• Work closely with Project Managers and site teams to plan project delivery
• Monitor progress, identify delays and recommend corrective action
• Review construction methods, sequencing and project logistics
• Support tender submissions and pre-construction planning
• Produce programme updates and reports for clients and senior management
• Identify programme risks and opportunities throughout the project

What We're Looking For;

• Experience in construction planning or project management with a main contractor
• Strong understanding of build programmes, sequencing and site operations
• Experience using Asta Powerproject or similar planning software
• Confident working with operational teams, subcontractors and clients
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Open to experienced Planners or Project Managers looking to step into a Senior Planner position
