Site Agent | Regional Contractor | North East | £55k - £65k + Package
We’re currently working with an established civil engineering contractor to recruit a Site Agent to support the delivery of highways and water infrastructure projects across the North East.
This role would suit someone who has progressed from an engineering background and is comfortable taking ownership of projects on site, managing operational teams and driving works through to successful completion.
The business has a strong regional presence and secured pipeline of work, offering long-term opportunities within a supportive and collaborative environment.
What You’ll Be Doing;
- Managing day-to-day site operations across highways and water projects
- Leading site teams including Engineers, Supervisors and subcontractors
- Driving programme and ensuring projects are delivered safely and efficiently
- Managing health & safety, quality and site compliance
- Coordinating subcontractors, labour and plant on site
- Supporting technical delivery and resolving issues on site
- Liaising with clients, consultants and operational teams
- Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme and specification
What You Will Need;
- Previous experience delivering highways and/or water infrastructure projects
- Strong engineering and site delivery background
- Experience operating as a Site Agent, Sub Agent or Senior Engineer
- Ability to manage teams and coordinate multiple work packages
- SMSTS, CSCS and relevant civil engineering qualifications
- Strong communication and organisational skills
