Site Manager | Tier 1 Contractor | Leeds | £50k - £70k + Package
I’m working with a leading Tier 1 contractor to recruit a Site Manager for a large-scale project in Leeds, driven by a strong pipeline of secured work and continued growth across the region.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected business delivering complex, high-value schemes, with a focus on quality, safety, and programme delivery.
The role will see you playing a key part in the successful delivery of a major project, with particular emphasis on structural steel frame elements and associated external/landscaping works.
The Role;
You’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities include;
- Overseeing site activities and coordinating subcontractors on a large-scale project
- Managing structural steel frame installation and sequencing
- Supervising external works including landscaping, civils, and groundworks packages
- Ensuring all works are delivered in line with programme and project requirements
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety across site operations
- Liaising with the Project Manager and wider delivery team
- Conducting site inspections and ensuring quality control procedures are met
- Managing site logistics, materials, and resource allocation
- Attending site meetings and reporting on progress
- Resolving on-site issues efficiently to avoid delays
What You’ll Need;
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within a Tier 1 or large regional contractor
- Strong experience delivering projects involving structural steel frame construction
- Demonstrable background in external works, landscaping, and civils packages
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors across complex workstreams
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and programme management
- SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications (essential)
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong focus on health & safety and quality delivery
- Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK
