Are you an experienced Site Manager looking for your next opportunity with an established main contractor, offering genuine career progression?
We're recruiting for a main contractor looking to appoint a Site Manager to work as the No.2 on a major construction project in North Yorkshire, with a strong pipeline of follow-on work and the opportunity to progress into running your own schemes.
The Role;
- Support the Project Manager with the day-to-day running of the site
- Manage subcontractors, trades and designated packages of work
- Coordinate site activities, logistics and construction programmes
- Ensure works are delivered safely, on time and to the required standards
- Liaise with the wider project team and resolve any site issues
- Monitor progress and maintain site records
What We're Looking For;
- Experience as a Site Manager or strong Assistant Site Manager with a main contractor background delivering new build construction projects
- Good understanding of construction sequencing and site management
- Confident managing subcontractors and coordinating trades
- Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills
- Ambition to progress into a No.1 Site Manager position
