Permanent Site Manager - South Yorkshire
Our client, a trusted local contractor based in South Yorkshire, is seeking an experienced Permanent Site Manager to join their team.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a variety of new build, refurbishment, and alteration projects from inception to completion.
Your expertise will ensure that work is carried out safely, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations on-site including workforce supervision and project management.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to meet deadlines.
- Liaise with clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Conduct regular site inspections and address any issues or delays promptly.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager, with a focus on build, refurbishment, and alteration projects.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, safety protocols, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and calmly under pressure.
- Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field are preferred.
