Trainee Bid Writer

The Company:

We are working with a leading contractor whose North West Regional Office has created an excellent reputation for delivering interesting projects for leading blue-chip clients.

They are a real North West success story who have grown consistently over the last 5 years and have a strong pipeline of work for 2025 and beyond in markets that are unlikely to be significantly affected if there is a downturn in the Construction Sector.

They typically make double digit margins on projects.

The Role:

  • Grow and design bespoke case studies for finalized construction projects and pre

construction activities, showcasing their potential and successes.

• Create visually engaging marketing materials and brochures to promote new sectors,

services, and workstreams.

• Organize and send out targeted email campaigns and mailshots to present and

prospective clients, aligned with the company’s development strategy.

• Design and assemble high-quality presentations adjusted for client meetings, conferences, or

digital distribution.

• Assist the bid team in writing, designing, and assemble compelling bid documents, PQQs,

and tender responses.

• Assist with the arrangement of CVs, case studies, and help documentation for submission

packs.

• Support in the management and maximisation of the company CRM system, ensuring

accuracy and usability for the wider team.

• Assist in framework management, monitoring key dates, deliverables, and outlining

requirements.

• Observe portals and industry bulletins for new opportunities and prequalification notices,

feeding related leads to the business development team.

• Help propose, prepare for, and attend industry events, exhibitions, and client networking

opportunities.

• Ensure branding, promotional items, and collateral are in line with company beliefs and

messaging.

You:

They are keen to add a Marketing and Bid Co-ordinator to their team.


Ideally, they would like to recruit someone who has worked in a bidding role previously and they would also like to chat with recent Graphic Design or Marketing graduates who are looking for their first role in the industry.


You will be able to commute to Cheshire daily.


IT literate.


Good verbal and written communication skills.
